On July 6, Singularity Six will be hosting a new playtest for their cozy MMO Palia. This will be their third, and “biggest” playtest so far. The objective is to see how the game handles a lot of players. To that end, they’re inviting more than 200,000 players to attend. If you were already part of one of the other tests, your invite is guaranteed. For everyone else, you have some time to sign up. (That means filling out a survey.)
Since this is more or less a server stress test, it won’t be too long. In fact, it’s only going to last for four hours – from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Pacific time. Players who didn’t participate in the last Alpha tests will need to sign up soon as invites will be going out over the next two weeks. Once someone receives their invite, it will take them to an account creation page where they can do all the necessary stuff. And yes, this test is under NDA.
