DayZ 2 Confirmed Thanks To Microsoft’s Court Documents In Their FTC Suit

Published:

A sequel to DayZ has been leaked…by Microsoft themselves!

Bohemia Interactive, the studio who created both the Arma and DayZ series, is apparently working on DayZ 2 (in addition to the already-confirmed Arma 4). How do we know this? Documents from Microsoft and the FTC’s ongoing legal battle in the United States said so.

The development of Arma Reforger, a trial-and-error platform for Arma 4, is also mentioned in the documents. Details about the development process and timeline for DayZ 2 are yet to be announced by Bohemia Interactive, but we did find out more on DayZ’s performance on Xbox Game Pass.

According to Microsoft’s documents, nearly 19 million hours of gameplay were sunk into the survival game in the last six months, with a peak concurrent player count of over 34,000 on Steam.
