The time has come to kick the tires and light the fires of the next Elder Scrolls Online content drop. That’s right, it’s PTS time for Update 47 and the Feast of Shadows dungeons, so now is the time to both peek at what’s coming and to help Zenimzx Online Studios with keeping things polished. After all, there’s been a bit of brain drain at the studio recently.
As reported previously, this patch introduces two new dungeons in the Feast of Shadows DLC bundle in the form of the Black Gem Foundry and Naj-Caldeesh, while U47 offers up some quality-of-life like survey reports that stack and mounts being capable of swimming (at last).
The associated PTS patch notes grant some more detail on what’s available, such as testing for a new Battle for the Writhing Wall event, which pits players against the Worm Cult in a three-phase event (though the first two phases will be available); the ability to reroll Infinite Archive visions; a more informative in-game compass; new housing content like two new houses and new furnishings; and round three of the Cyrodiil Vengeance test.
