Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist, a new fantasy VR MMORPG, made a strong debut on Kickstarter on June 24, rapidly surpassing its initial funding goal in less than two hours. At the time of writing, the campaign has raised over $80,000, unlocking its first two stretch goals and closing in on a third.
The game is being developed by Resolute Games. Eldramoor aims to blend open-world exploration, class customization, and a social experience reminiscent of classic MMORPGs, but reimagined for virtual reality.
Eldramoor is set in a medieval fantasy world where players can explore five distinct biomes, take on dynamic quests, and engage in both PvE and PvP activities. The game offers a wide range of character customization options, including body types, outfits, species, and non-gender-locked accessories. Players can level up any class, equip any gear, and participate in guilds, dungeons, raids, crafting, and social mini-games.
As always, keep expectations in check with Kickstarter MMOs, as the platform has a poor history with funded MMOs as most never launch.
