EVE Frontier, a Space Survival MMO, Announces 10-Day Free Trial From April 11-21

Published:

CCP Games is inviting spacefaring adventurers to test the limits of its upcoming player-driven survival MMO, EVE Frontier, with a free trial running April 11-21, 2025. Players who previously registered as “Remnants” will get first access to this evolving sandbox universe currently in development for PC and Mac.

Little has been shown officially about the game and the newest official trailer below is embarassingly bad and light on details:

As a spiritual successor to EVE Online‘s player-driven legacy, EVE Frontier aims to push the boundaries further by making every major system player-controlled. From faction politics to entire economies, the game hands players the tools to build – or destroy – their corner of the galaxy.

Key Features of This Living Universe:

  • Emergent Faction Warfare: Players create and lead their own factions with custom governance systems
  • Player-Built Infrastructure: Construct stargates, space stations and trade networks that reshape the galaxy
  • Open Development Philosophy: CCP supports third-party mods and tools to expand gameplay possibilities

This trial represents more than just early access – it’s a collaborative development phase where player feedback directly impacts the game’s evolution. With survival mechanics layered over EVE’s signature deep simulation, the experience promises to be equally rewarding for lone explorers and ambitious empire-builders alike.

The free access period ends April 21, giving participants just 10 days to leave their mark on this ever-evolving space frontier before the next development phase begins. For those who missed registration, CCP plans additional testing periods as development progresses toward full launch.
