HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3, titled “The Fall at Dawn’s Rise,” will go live on May 21. This update brings the Flame-Chase storyline to its dramatic conclusion as players join forces with the Chrysos Heirs for a final battle against the Sky Titan, Aquila. The massive hundred-eyed bird is said to control the cycles of dawn and dusk, making it a formidable foe.
Alongside the climactic story chapter, Version 3.3 introduces two new 5-star characters:
- Hyacine (Wind/Remembrance) – A support-focused healer who summons Little Ica to provide team-wide recovery and bonus damage scaling with healing output.
- Cipher (Quantum/Nihility) – A strategic debuffer who marks high-HP enemies, tracks damage dealt, and unleashes powerful follow-up attacks.
The update also features returning limited 5-star characters, with The Herta appearing in the first half and Aglaea in the second half of the version’s warp events.
New gameplay content includes:
- Echo of War: Glance of Twilight – A challenging endgame mode with valuable rewards.
- Penacony Speed Cup Spheroid Racing Tournament – A high-speed racing event where players customize and pilot their own Spheroid Racers.
- Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King – The full release of this fan-favorite mini-game, now with expanded mechanics.
The story continues to unravel the mysteries of Amphoreus, with Madam Herta’s investigations hinting at deeper connections to the galaxy’s fate. Meanwhile, the Geniuses’ discoveries suggest more twists are yet to come.
