Lost Ark’s June Update Brings New Story Content, Island, and Gameplay Improvements

Published:

Amazon Games rolled out the latest update for Lost Ark on June 25, introducing new storylines, features, and system improvements for players. This June patch includes the continuation of the Kazeros storyline, a new explorable island, and enhancements to player customization and raid experiences.

Lost Ark, originally launched in South Korea before its global release in 2022, has maintained a strong player base thanks to its blend of fast-paced combat, extensive endgame content, and frequent updates. While the playerbase has fallen off significantly since its initial launch, the game still averages ~14,000 concurrent players on Steam.

  • Kazeros Act 3 After Story – Beyond the Dark Fog: Players can now experience an additional story quest that builds on the events of the Act 3 Kazeros Raid. This new chapter explores the aftermath of decisions made by characters Kadan and Guardian Luen, offering more context for ongoing events in Arkesia.
  • Yornujan Island: A new island, situated off Rimeria’s coast, is now open for players with item levels above 1640. The island features a unique storyline centered on young Yoz characters and illusion magic. Players can participate in a new daily quest and work towards collecting the Yornujan Island Soul.
  • Stylebook System: A new fashion and appearance management system allows players to save, share, and showcase their favorite character looks. This addition also makes it easier for players to access and organize appearance presets and screenshots.
  • Screenshot Storage and Stronghold Frame: The update introduces a way to manage in-game screenshots, separating temporary and saved images. Players can also display their favorite moments using new frames within their personal stronghold, with options to adjust presentation for a personalized gallery.
  • Mythic Desert Collection: The first globally available skin set, themed around ancient desert aesthetics, includes exclusive character skins and a matching wallpaper.
  • Guardians’ Call Events: Running from June 25 to July 23, this event offers extra rewards for completing select Guardian Raids. Materials like Concentrated/Circulated Leapstones and Bound Gold are available as incentives.
  • Raid Adjustments: The Kazeros Raids now feature an Individual Resurrection System, allowing players to revive during boss fights using Phoenix Plumes. Additional balance changes have been applied, including reduced boss HP and simplified mechanics across several raid gates on both Normal and Hard modes.
