Modern Warfare II Multiplayer Free For This Week (But There’s A Catch)

Published:

Interested in trying out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II? Now’s your chance.

Activision has announced a free multiplayer trial for the FPS, scheduled to run from now until September 20th. During this period, players can enjoy 12 maps and 11 modes. However, there’s a catch: they’re limited to just 2.5 hours of actual in-match gameplay.

So if you’re taking part, better use that time wisely. That being said, it’s worth pointing out that the upcoming Modern Warfare III will allow content to be carried over from Modern Warfare II. Perhaps this is your opportunity to get a headstart (assuming you don’t have Modern Warfare II but are interested in Modern Warfare III).
