Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 Collaboration Arrives May 20

Published:

Blizzard has announced an upcoming crossover between Overwatch 2 and Street Fighter 6, set to launch on May 20, 2025. The collaboration will bring iconic Street Fighter character skins to Overwatch 2, transforming heroes into legendary fighters from Capcom’s franchise. An animated teaser trailer revealed which heroes will receive the crossover makeovers, though the actual in-game models remain under wraps for now.

Confirmed Street Fighter 6 Skins in Overwatch 2:

  • Junker Queen as Chun-Li
  • Widowmaker as Cammy
  • Kiriko as Juri
  • Soldier: 76 as Guile
  • Winston as Blanka
  • Zenyatta as Dhalsim
  • Sigma as M. Bison

This isn’t Overwatch 2’s first major IP crossover. Earlier this year, the game celebrated Gundam Wing’s 30th anniversary with themed skins, turning heroes into famous Mobile Suits from the anime. The Street Fighter collab continues Blizzard’s trend of bringing pop culture flair to its hero shooter.

While the trailer didn’t show the final in-game skins, the matchup choices make sense, blending Overwatch heroes’ abilities and personalities with their Street Fighter counterparts. Fans won’t have to wait long to see the full reveal, with the event kicking off in just a few weeks.
