Paladins Updating Twitch Practices, Reducing Drops, And Discouraging 24 -Hour Streams In More “Community” Focus

Published:

Some interesting changes are on the way for Paladins and Twitch.

The game’s presence on the platform is undergoing several updates to focus on community engagement and support for smaller creators. Hi-Rez Studios is discouraging 24/7 and AFK stream content, as the developers believe both can harm the community and smaller creators. The team is working with Twitch to maintain the Paladins category and deter this type of content.

Changes are also being made to the Paladins Stream Team schedule. The developers will now be live on Twitch for 10 hours a day instead of 22, with shorter streaming blocks. This will allow more space for new voices and ensure that Paladins remains a great platform for content creation, says the team.

The handling of Drops in the Paladins category is also being reevaluated. Drops will no longer run constantly but will be occasional to encourage more streamers to stream and players to watch during peak times for Paladins.
