Prepare For Time-Related Shenanigans In Warcraft’s ‘The Fractures In Time’ Content Update

Published:

Time travel. It’s always causing problems. Sooner or later, any time-related shenanigans results in needing to do a little time-space cleanup. Otherwise, you end up with situations similar to what’s coming in World of Warcraft’s The Fractures in Time content update. You’re stuck fighting off disaster caused by alternate timelines trying to encroach on yours.

The MMORPG‘s new content launches in just a few short days, on July 11, at which time players will be able to take part in new public events: Time Rifts, a new Mega-Dungeon: Daw of the Infinite, and more.

The update also introduces a new Evoker Specialization named Augmentation and a new Whelp Daycare feature. Players can now help the dragons with their young. Players will be entrusted with whelps to care for and raise.

The update also expands the Warlock class to new races. Now Night Elves, Draenei, Lightforged Draenei, Pandaren, Kul Tiran, Tauren, Highmountatin Tauren, Mag’har Orcs, and Zandalari Trolls can all take up the mantle. They’ll also be able to pick up a Warlock-specific questline and customize their pets.

Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made.
