The presentation provided a detailed look at what’s coming in the Season 3: Breakthrough update, introduced a crossover with NieR: Automata, and teased the game’s roadmap for the rest of the year.
Key announcements and updates include:
- Season 3: Breakthrough launches August 7, bringing the new Axion Plains field, the Hover Bike vehicle, and the 8-player Colossus Field Raid featuring the boss Wall Crasher.
- Introduction of Nell, a new Descendant with telekinetic abilities, able to both support allies and deal damage depending on player build.
- The first-ever NieR: Automata crossover brings 2B and A2 skins, animations, and decorations to the game, expanding cosmetic options for players.
- Release of an official player infographic, showing overall and personal stats from the past year, available via the game’s website starting July 3.
- Spotify collaboration adds the original soundtrack to streaming platforms, with in-game rewards like a Spotify Name Card and two new Paints for logging in after the July 3 update.
