Theorycraft Games Announces Nov 20 Open Beta for MOBA BR Hybrid SUPERVIVE

Published:

Following its success at Steam Next Fest and a well-received closed beta in Korea, Theorycraft Games is set to launch the Open Beta for their innovative title, SUPERVIVE, on November 20, 2024. This unique free-to-play game merges elements of MOBAs, Battle Royales, and hero shooters, and will be available with servers across North America, Europe, Asia, and Korea through a collaboration with NEXON.

The decision to advance to Open Beta was spurred by the positive reception during Steam Next Fest, where the game attracted a significant player base. Joe Tung, CEO and co-founder of Theorycraft Games, highlighted the enthusiastic player engagement and feedback as key drivers for moving swiftly to Open Beta. He emphasized the importance of community involvement in shaping the game, stating that development would continue in the open, with player input central to ongoing improvements.

During its showing at Steam Next Fest, SUPERVIVE saw hundreds of thousands of new players, who collectively logged more than 67 million minutes of gameplay—equivalent to over 127 years—in just one week. The event’s gameplay statistics revealed a challenging environment for players, with 13 million hunters defeated and 70% of 3.5 million vault attempts failing.

In December, SUPERVIVE players can expect a transdimensional winter-themed event, introducing new content such as map evolutions, powers, cosmetics, and equipment. This event is part of Theorycraft’s commitment to continually evolve the gameplay experience.

Those interested in participating in the Open Beta can wishlist SUPERVIVE on Steam now, as Theorycraft Games gears up to make it the next big name in hybrid online gaming.
