You Asked For It… The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Will Have Crossplay At Launch

Published:

Okay. We have some good news and some (potentially) bad news. First, the good news… The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will be launching with crossplay. Sumo dropped a post on the game’s blog today detailing how it would work – specifically, which platforms can matchmake with each other. Anyone with a current-gen system is covered. That means Steam, Windows, Xbox X|S, and PlayStation 5 can all play together. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players will have to live without matchmaking.

Now, for the (potentially) bad news. It really depends on how much you care about this one, particular feature. There will be no cross-progression. Progress and saves will be tied to the platform the player is on at the time. Sorry guys.
